I keep sneezing like i have allergies, but i don't have a cold. How could I have allergies in the middle of winter???Maybe i'm allergic to my cashmere scarf! damn that goat/llama hair, or whatever the fuck cashmere is.
20 credits is kicking my arse, yet I love it. It's fun to consume myself in school. Gives me something to be passionate about..besides art, computers, and boys....
Have I ever mentioned how much I love the show Sex and the City. I learned how to kype episodes off the net and I have been throughly enjoying the episodes i have missed. It's a great show to watch with a bunch of girls. The one thing that I think is kinda sad about the show is they really put so much of an emphasis of finding happiness through being in a relationship. Even though that this is the reality with most girls, possibly even myself included, it's such an ugly reality. This standard of finding completeness through finding the perfect man.... i relate and am disgusted at how much i relate. .. when i Know that is really not how you find completeness at all, yet i find myself falling into that cliche pattern of looking for contentness that way.
it's fun to watch the show though and figure out how i relate to each character.
I think I have moments of being like charlotte with her fantasy filled head of how things should be all fairytale like and perfect, and how much she is in denial of the reality of different situations...but also how she is so good natured, and
i feel like Samantha in some ways because she is so comfortable in her sexuality she is a little obsessed with it., because her sexuality consumes who she is, I am definitely the same way (but I'm definitely not so emotionally unattached and fucking everything in sight) and
I don't really relate with Miranda much except for feeling ugly sometimes and pathetic and wondering why the hell i'm not in a 50/50 loving relationship when I know I have so much to offer.. she is really insecure and neurotic, but independent and successful and I see those qualities in me from time to time
But I think i relate with Kari, (sarah jessica parkers) character the best. First of all, she writes on a mac laptop about sex, and I'm sitting on here writing about sex on a mac laptop too! She has naturally ringlet curly hair like me.. and her unrequited hot sex love fling was with big, and mine is with hot bobby. There are very funny comparisons of bobby and big. They are both emotionally unavailable, amazing in the sack, womanizers, although Big is an asshole and bobby really isn't, but the way Kari is so torn over him because she has him, but he is always just out of her reach is so fucking similiar to what our b's and i's situation is like. (things are getting better though)
Ah this is how much i analyze shit, it's amazing i have enough time to think about anything important..
hahhahaahahhaha

guys can get like that about defining their happiness in terms of being in a relationship...but then others define it in terms of their sex lives.
I know what you mean about just wallowing in academia. it's even gooder if you can do it while not working. just set the brain on "recieve" and just absorb info like it's the best high ever. learning shit is so cool!
I want to get back to that. though I don't think I'll ever be able to block out art, computers, alcohol, and girls.
but since I don't own a tv. I might...just might...escape the horrible urge to watch Sex and the City that you have implanted in my poor brain.
