Were mullets ever in style? or have they always been this hairstyle faux paus that has haunted hicks and inbred white trash since the beginning of time?

I personally love the femme mullet...especially if the back is so long it's down to their ass, and their sides have lil stripes in em.. That is damn sexy... There is nothing sexier than a female version of billy ray cirus...especially if she is wearing jeans with a very apparent camel toe...shaaaaawing.

Or the infamous rat tail...I always wanted to go up to someone with one grab it and drag em down the street...just for shits and giggles.. but then i would prolly get socked in the face cause them rat tailed critters are dangerous.

Nothing pleases me more than seeing someone wear pumps with short bobby socks and an acid wash jean skirt. Yes there are people who dress this way, everyday, I used to work with a girl who had big bangs, socks with her pumps, and a george micheal black biker jacket straight lookin like it came from the "faith" video....

people amuse me. I wonder who is amused by my weirdness.. smile

well, at some point in the 80's I'd say yes. both my brother and I both had curly semi-mullets, but that was before "the mullet" was a phenomenon or a term, it was just away people wore their hair. we both had curly hair, all equal legth pretty short on the top, but left fairly long in the back...to about the bottom of the neck. I once say my brother's high school yearbook (5 years earlier than mine), there were 80's hairdos (mullets, I suppose), and big big hair on th girls.

Back in 1985 I wanted a mullet, or so I'm told. Fortunately, it's not possible for me since my hair grows out instead of down.

Damn aquanet...you promised so much!
