Looking for a new job sucks. I am scared I am never going to make enough to survive. My chosen profession is not one that many can make a really good living at, at least in LA it seems. How can one survive on $10 an hour when there are bills to pay like rent and car insurance and cell phones, and tuition, and food and gas and pretty much anything you can think of?
I am kicking myself for never taking that bartending position awhile back. They were going to train me and everything. I would KILL for that oppurtunity now.

a friend of mine just quit a bartenders job and she was making something like $2.50 an hour plus tips.
the personal trainers are a dime a dozen and you just got to develop your niche. make up business cards advertising that u will come to thier home and train them until u develop a following then do it full time.
find something that u feel passionate about and go out and do it.
