I'm @Babel from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I turned pink almost 12 years ago...such a happy memory! I study (and work) in Accountancy and I'm also an assistant professor at the university. My hobby is photography and being a volunteer in cat refugee. Love cats & books! I'm always active here because I love the community, I made good friends through the years ♥
How did you come up with your SG name?
BABEL is because I can't imagine my life without my books and music. There is a song called "Río Babel" (Babel river) by Gustavo Cerati, an argentinian rockstar that I like, and there's a story written by Jorge Luis Borges, one of fave authors, called "La bilioteca de Babel" (Babel's library)...that's the origin of my name!
Fun fact: Cerati was a fan of Borges :)
How did you discover SuicideGirls? What inspired you to apply?
My bestie, @Tangerine, was a SG, she introduced me to the site and to some of the models. I wanted to be part because of your motto. I also wanted to prove myself that I was beautiful too, despite of everything I had to live.
What was the inspiration for your debut set?
It was @Tangerine idea in fact. She chose my outfit and did my make-up. It was shot in her aparment once @Talena was visiting Buenos Aires. The inspiration is a song we used to listen: "In the cold, cold night" - The white stripes.
Who are some of your best friends in the SG community?
Here in Argentina: @Emanuelle, @Flareon, @Ginebra, @Juliju, @Meixime and @Turmalina.
I love @Thanatoz, we met the first time in Medellín, Colombia in 2013. She is very special to me.
And I can't forget @VULNICURA, @Snarf and @Mortis322.
What are some of your favorite groups on SG?
I find SILLINESS and TOP FIVES very funny groups and an easy way to be active.
I'm a moderator in LIT CLUB and NO FRIENDS...go check those groups! I started a pen-pal friends activity and it's wonderful :)
What are some of your favorite SG sets of all time?
Bohemian melody (@Kaleria and @Karanlit, shot by @Darishka) is beyond beautiful ♥
Any fun SG memories to share?
The time we fly in a globe with @Juliju and @Mataro in Mexico, over the pyramids. Incredible.
What does beautiful mean to you?
Being true to yourself. Being beautiful inside, your soul...not your look.
If you could shoot with any current team photographer who would it be?
I'd love to shoot again with @Gitanna and @Frani.
If I could choose, I think it will be great to shoot with @Andrea_Arcore, @Babu and @Aymi.
If you could shoot a set anywhere, in any theme, what kind of set would you shoot?
A set inspired in "Annabel Lee", the poem by Edgar A. Poe. During a grey-cloudy day, in a beach.
Do you have any hobbies?

What's your "day job"?
I'm the head of administration at a meat exporting company. At 2 days a week I work as a professor assistant at the university, we teach costs.
Do you have any pets? Tell us about them!
Yes! I have 3 cats: Romeo, Felipe and Aurora. They are my life ♥
Do you like to travel? Of all the places you've been, which was your favorite?
Wanderlust ♥
I love travelling! So far, my fave city is Florence, Italy.

I'm very good cooking risotto :)
