...she held my hand as we walked through the garden...stopping every few steps to smell the jasmine...the lemon flowers...the broad palette of roses. She looked up and closed her eyes, to feel the sun through her skin...the warm breeze through her soft curls of hair, and she smiled. I smiled too, for it seems these days, that her smile is behind all of mine. She let go my hand, and began to dance in the overgrown courtyard...laughing and twirling 'til dizzy. "I love you," I said, that same smile on my sun-kissed face....she stopped twirling, turned, giggled, and said..."nuv yoo too Daddy!!"...my heart, like melting icecream.
