Hello SG world,
Going back through some old blog homework topics and this one caught my eye.
I started stripping just over two years now. My then house mate and long time bestie @mink started and about a month later I followed her, pretty typical move for us. Where she went I usually followed hahaha.
The first club we worked for, (Crazy Horse Revue) was horrible, the owners were the worst of the worst. After a year of dealing with that bullshit, Mink moved on and I spent some time at Pole Position while I waited to get into The Palace Adelaide.
It was a nice environment and the girls and staff were the best but it wasn't busy enough. I eventually got into the Palace and it very quickly became my favourite club and like my second home. The girls were the most beautiful welcoming group I have ever worked with.
The industry has some major ups and downs. It is the most challenging job I’ve ever done, but also the most rewarding. I have had nights were I made more money than I could count and some nights I’ve gone home with nothing.
However, no matter how hard the job may get sometimes and even though I make more money now then I ever have it my life, ultimately my favourite part of the it all is being in the changing rooms with all us girls getting ready at the start of the night. Girls doing each others hair and make up, rushing to get on the floor on time, being held up cause someone needs help tanning their back or doing up a bodysuit. The bustle of everyone talking; guessing how the night is gonna be.
Then throughout the night going back to our corner of peace checking back in with everyone, taking stupid photos with each other, ranting about some bullshit customer, eating food someones regular brought for us or just being drunk idiots usually swapping clothes and using each others setting spray.
My job has introduced me to the most incredible women, surrounded me with goddesses that work harder than anyone I have ever seen. Even if I have a rough night I have the best support of friends, you tend to become close when you spend so much time together naked.
Thanks for this topic guys @rambo @missy , I really love being able to talk and share about my job that I love so much. But being in the adult industry I don’t usually have the opportunity to do so (and not get judged for it).
