i quit A & P(a crazy accelerated class that forces so much information in your head, you just end up staring ahead and laughing uncontrollably) for the summer. i decided to stop the madness which screwed up the application deadline for the nursing program but i was hearing bad things about it anyway. still, having crazy amounts of school in your life and ending it so abruptly leaves much time for one to think about things, which can be good or can be hard. and that question what am i doing/ am i happy? can be a real ass biter so...i made these great friends at the school and they begged me to stay but, in what felt like a real moment of clarity, i thought this is'nt going to work for me now. so i'm trying to ease my conscous a little by picking up shifts at work and being busy but i know that really all i need to do is relax and enjoy my summer. relax and enjoy relax and enjoy relax and...write or create art, gag nabbit!!!!!!!!

Art is good and made by god. Sometimes a brush full of oil paint can be more intoxicating than the best drink. Personal re constuction seems to be the theme of the month. I keep reminding myself that emersion in work is no substitution for defining yourself as a person. it doesn't make the voices go away as much as pushes the pause button. then when you are alone and quiet, boom! a weeks worth of email clogging the box. I guess i'm sayin' I hear ya loud and clear, don't forget to smell the roses!
