I took the plunge to Windows 8 last night/this morning. I was working off the trial version, and thought it was alright. Since I'd already been using 7, I thought everything would just translate right over.
Wrong.
Wrong wrong wrong.
Sigh. It's not that installing all my programs over again is hard or anything. Just kind of inconvenient. And not everything is compatible apparently. I don't want to say this was a mistake just yet. We'll see. I'm hoping the good will still end up outrating the bad in the end. In the meantime, I'm kind of hogtied by a computer that's half ready to roll.
