I have totally been there.
like the time I decided I wanted bangs. I cut them and I looked like I was twelve. I had bob length hair at that point. I had been growing it. After cutting the bangs and hating them I felt I had no choice, so I cut it all off. I was back to my regular super short boyish hair cut.
I'm sure there are ways you can work with it until it grows out. Ways to make it look good so you can post pictures and so you won't hate it daily.
Plus, i'm pretty damn sure it's not anything near as bad as you think it is.
