Week 9 update.
I had a deep comedone extraction on Thursday — and the truth finally came out: I’ve been picking my skin under stress.
Now I’m left with scarring on my chin that can only be treated with hormonal injections.
Yes, I admit it. I squeezed and picked inflamed spots when I was anxious. It felt unbearable in the moment… but the cost of treatment is far higher than just being patient.
Overall skin condition: 9/10. Dryness has become my new normal.
One new thing — mild atopic patches on my forearms. Nothing dramatic, just something to monitor.
