Month 2 on meds — done.
Summer hit, and I burned my face in cloudy weather. UV was 4, but 3h walk = roasted.
Caps don’t help — light reflects. So now it’s:
☀️ 3h out — break — 3h out
🧢 Full Korean face wrap mode
🧤 Mesh gloves (yep, fingers burn too)
👗 Natural fabrics only
💛 Sunscreen stains everything white
But I’ll keep walking through White Nights — glowing, veiled, untouchable.
How far would you go for your perfect skin?

Sunscreen is a must, that’s where skin care starts for me. It took me a while to find products that I enjoy wearing, but now I have a few and depending on the day and activity I’m using them accordingly. Most my sunscreens are “chemical” varieties, they don’t leave white residue or very little. On some days I do prefer mineral sunscreen, that’s when I don’t mind the white look. Then niacinamide creams and retin(-ol, -al, -aldehyde) creams at night are helping greatly. Adding a skin barrier repair cream at night as a last step is reducing irritation, dryness and flaking. Wishing you good success with your skin care journey! 🙏🏻🫶🏻
