yeah hun. judges & lawyers are assholes. similer thing happened to me durring jury duty. judge got pissy with the group cause alot of us had obligations that would make us inable to serve for the trial. its not your fault. Fuck him! you're safe, and thats all that matters.

Judges are some of the most fucking callous people in the world. I had to do my own divorce and kept getting the same judge and I really just wanted to get it over with and she was just a horrible bitch the whole time.

is it bad there? i thought about trying to work there but i thought it would be disapointing

the corporate thing doesnt really bother me. i just dont like it when they are total tight asses and dont consider your situation on a personal basis before repremanding you (cause im late all the time)

Some ball-gagged part of my conscience is still trying to berate me for quitting my lifesucking job (does one call it a "job" if it isn't lifesucking?) while in the thick of this recession. the legal system around here isnt as generous. i had to stand jury duty for the first time a few months ago. if the case had gone to trial i would have ended up losing my job and do you think the city cared? NO!!!

yeah, it is third world down here. no way is the city going to pay. which is why i want to move to portland. the only reason the case is getting prosecuted at all is because of the upswing in murder around here. during the sniper shootings in the DC area, we had 30 murders.
