Went to the beach yesterday, it was good, I think next summer I want to move to the shore and get a job and stay there all summer, i would love and whole summer at the shore, I think it would be great.
On a shitty note, Jersey cops don't appreciate you doing, supposedly 97 MPH in a 65 MPH zone, so now next month I have to go to court in jersey so I might as well make a trip to the beach out of it.

I figured it had something to do with the 70's gas crisis and drive aways. I bet a google search would tell us.
when I grew up there many years ago were that 1) it supplies a lot of people with jobs, especially students in high school and college, and 2) it was safer for trained individuals to pump their own gas. They still retain the law.
There were individuals who argued that the cost of gas would come down if people could pump their own gas, but research showed that this was not the case. In other states that changed over to self serve, gas still remained about the same price.
