My girlfirend Lisa called me first thing this morning upset. Her mother died this morning and know I have no clue what to do. I am not good in these situations and I feel so powerless in helping. And on top of it she lost her dad like seven years ago so now she has no one. I need to be there for her, but I don't want to get in the way of any family time she may need. I don't know what to do.
And now all I want is my mom to come home right now, so I can give her a hug. No matter what differences we have, I would never wish anything bad on her. Life is short and try to appreciate the people while they are here now. So go give your mom a hug tonight everyone

Be there for her, be the shoulder for her to cry on but also give her the space she needs with her family. The best thing to do right now is to listen to her. My sympathies, my dad died when I was 14 and it is hard when we lose a parent.
