So I’m in Atlantic City for a few days for steelworkers union conference. Last year I came with 3 other people from our local, 3 coworkers. So last year I was with people or had others I could text to hang out. This year, I realize my wife is right about me... I am indeed introverted. Never realized it because I’m not shy. I talk to anybody who talks to me and will attempt to strike up a conversation... I actually love talking...

BUT...

I suck at striking up conversations with people I don’t really know. It makes stuff like this reasonably lonely, at least when there is down time. Maybe 200-250 fellow union members, I am just kind of like... oh hi. That’s it. I’m gonna go play in a hold ‘em tournament this evening so that should keep me entertained
