harrowing adventure story:
i walked to school listening to built like alaska, ready to take my climatology exam (the first of the term!).
when the professor started passing out the scantrons, i thought: WHERE ARE MY KEYS?!?!
that's right, kids, i had LOST them. i don't ever lose things, but these were LOST.
i blazed through my test - which, for what it's worth, i always do because there's no point dwelling on shit you don't know, may as well take a good guess and hope for the best - and walked out to my favorite spot in the building where i had been watching school children learn about earth science moments before the test.
what do you know? there were my pesky keys just a-waiting for me.
i felt very relieved.
i wonder how i did on my test. i'll be ok with a c, and elated with a b.
my sinking standards break my heart, but it's the first test and i'm determined to keep my spot on the dean's list.
my throat's all on swoll, and it hurts to swallow. what's all that about?
