Thank you for your gestures of friendship. It's not that I don't appreciate them...it's that, if I am to be perfectly honest with myself and with you, I'd have to say that I'm not entirely certain that we share enough common interests. True, you have procured a fine gallery of human suffering. Masterful examples of evisceration, decapitation, and other specimens of man's inhumanity to man...however, I'd have to say that is not really my bag. I'm rather more interested in living things. Healthy, living things. Or fashion, I could easily wax on about the wonders of Paco Rabanne. Or the design influence of Mies Van der Rohe. Or tattoos, the art of burlesque, pin-ups, or silly puns. So many things, but not keenly interested in cadavers, I'm afraid.

But I had a head start on that one as I read about them when some brain-donor at work wanted to pick an argument about how advanced our society was to some places in Asia etc. I explained that we were clearly no more than 40 years ahead as this country's government and crown was still executing people just one generation ago.
Countries need to be allowed to develop at their own pace as far as possible. Fucking too much with that is like fucking with the space-time-continuum in Back to the Future.
