Yesterday my sister and I went to the Farmers' Market and loaded up on fresh summer vegetables. She went to work, and I stayed home and worked as well. I made fresh linguine noodles and onion gorgonzola focaccia bread. I chopped up our vegetables and roasted them with cracked pepper and olive oil until they were soft and fragrant, and just a little caramelized. When she got home, we cooked the noodles and tossed them with the roasted vegetables and some parmesan cheese.
After dinner we walked down to the ice cream parlor. It was a good day.
