I was in a bit of a funk earlier, but then I got a phone call. My sister called me and said, "Bring me some ice cream now." So I got up, put some pants on, danced a little jig and brought my sister some gourmet ice cream.
It's like she just snapped out of it. Sure, she's a little slow and wobbly, and she gets dizzy and has to sit down if she turns her head too fast, but she can stand and walk and eat, and she has a sparkle in her eye again. And if she doesn't leak brain fluid when they take the bandages off, they'll let her go home tomorrow.
I'm so incredibly pleased. Everyone keep their fingers crossed for no brain fluid leakage.
