So many people are sending me things in the mail, it feels like my birthday. I'm incredibly excited about all the CDs, tee shirts, magazines, etc. that will be arriving in the mail forthwith.
Though not in a monetary sense, I guess it does pay to work for a magazine. I have mad copy editing skills, and people can't stop sending me presents.

New Zealand Music month is almost over, and for the second year in a row I can only read about it. But getting so many presents in the mail almost makes up for the fact that I live so far away.
