Sometimes life will present me with a moment, a collection of incidents and stimuli, in which life is so heartbreakingly beatiful that it makes me cry.

This morning it was:
-driving
-rain turning to soft snow
-The Phoenix Foundation, This Charming Van
-my temporarily overwhelming melancholy
-and my toes being just cold enough.

When I'm on, I can do about six pages of near-final-draft quality work every hour. I put down a 60,000 word novel in just over three days once. Then come the times like now when I just can't write.

You can imagine how nuts that makes me.
