Today:
-I got a nosebleed for the first time in my life. It was a gusher, too. Got all over my shirt, the desk, and the confidential student files I was reading at the time. Ew.
-I have business cards for my website now. They're totally sweet. I feel important now.
-I have a shitload of gang literature to read; the history of gangs, gang activities, current gang signs, gangs in my area, why kids join gangs, what teachers can do to minimize gang influence in the classroom... Fascinating shit. I also have comic books.
-I don't know if I'm going to a Cinco de Mayo party tonight. I'm still not quite hip to this socializing with coworkers outside of work thing. There's bound to be tons of drinking, though. Ironic that we spent an hour in our staff meeting today getting all bothered about how we're going to prevent our students from showing up drunk and/or high.
