Conifers and Granite by a Lake

Chicken and Mushroom Risotto

Red Wine

Going to Linda's apartment.

Helping Linda get into her tight, body-hugging red vinyl midriff-baring suit for a fetish rave party.

I love her BO. I love her hugs. She let me slap her tush and scratch an itch on it for her.

I gave her Chrysanthemums colored like the heart of...

Well, for me, it started out as a decent game, themewise (although I think Palladium's systems are outdated, a blatant rip-off of old-school D&D, and generally shite), but there's no such thing as power creep in that game... it's more like power hurtling-down-the-highway-at-ten-thousand-miles-an-hour-then-lifting-off-and-breaking-orbit. They took a decent post-apocalyptic survival fantasy theme and turned it into every uber-twink's wet dream. Not to mention the fact that all their other games are now nothing more than Rifts supplements - how can you maintain any kind of distinct themes in such a willy-nilly mix?

Leningrad's views are... somewhat harsher.

Without thinking too much about it, just tell me your three favourite animals in order of preference. You are allowed mythical creatures too since this is an exercise on totems and archetypes.

Mine are:
1) Coyote
2) Snake
3) Owl

Meaning:
1) What you want to be
2) What you are
3) What you want as a partner

Reasons (optional if you want to elaborate...

I was almost beginning to thing that you were somewhat reasonable, were it not for the last post, which even included the usual childish cheap shots at "Dubya's" sex life.

As for Occham's razor...I fail to see how your view of things is the simplest explanation. Your presumptions about his motivations are far more complicated (and downright creative) than any of the current stereotypes, good or bad.

Why is it so hard for everyone to accept the REAL simplest explanation for our involvement in Iraq, which was, "The last time we let insane foreigners with power go unchecked, they ran planes into our buildings?" What were we supposed to do, wait until we were attacked again?

(Not that I am NOT attempting to say that Hussein was linked to Al Quaida.)

I am NOT the president of the George W. Bush fan club. However, this portrayal of him as this evil finnagler who's only out for his own gain is trivial and lacks perspective.

Regarding: Afghani women

I saw footage on CNN and FOX News of both the musical shenangans and the women attending schools. Of course, to hear some tell it, it must all be a phoney, set-up hoax with hired actors or something. It's interesting to see how our government's actions are being portrayed in other countries...

Which reminds me...have you seen any of the footage of the Iraqi people rejoicing and throwing their shoes at Saddam's likenesses after Baghdad was liberated? Or is it just the ingrates that get all the press?

Got Oleum Basilicum in my Aromatherapy thingy: Room smells like Vicks Vaporub.

Drinking this Echinacea Extract medicine. You dilute 20 drops in a glass of water and drink. Sure beats lozenges. hate lozenges.

How do women over in Afghanistan not have it any better?? They're even going to school, for crying out loud! I think the beast measurement of our 'alleged' success over there is this:

When the Taliban was overthrown, they people were dancing in the streets. To music. Both of which were banned under the Taliban regime.

Things over there aren't perfect, but it's undeniable that the locals are now enjoying some basic human rights that they never had before. Like school and music!

work again....

anyone ever notice that being sick gives you weird dreams?

Also, just ordered Towards Perfect Posture from Amazon UK. Sounds like a back therapy book, but the author had no power over the cover and actually is a guide for the Alexander Technique recommended by my friend Jon who is a practitioner. The back therapy is just a small part.

awww. that's so cute....do you still have your turtle??? a few years ago i was rummaging through some of my mom's boxes and came across a white blanket and as soon as i touched it i felt a connection to it. i took it downstairs and my mom told me that it was my baby blanket that i used to carry around with me everywhere.

so of course i took it home...i can't possibly let it go now..it still makes me feel good.

bored,

what are YOU guys doing?

had coffee with a friend I stopped talking to last year.

while travelling to meet her, travelling to go home and while waiting I was scoping out the wonderful women we have here in Sweden. It's a very sunny, very warm day. Beautiful weather. My Lolita Complex was in full force scoping out deliciously summer-dressed 20-somethings barely 165cm/5'6" tall...

I read comics a lot. The comic book store I frequent is wonderful -- they give 15% discounts to regular customers. I love them.

I am not so talkative in person. I mean, I gab a lot with my close friends (I have about five close friends) and my mom, but... That's it. Mostly. And sometimes my brother. When he isn't busting into my room, waving his hand in front of my facem repeating, "You're running through a forest" over and over again, and then saying, "You ran into a tree" and smacking my forehead! That's not funny! Stop it!

Yeah.

'hitler's CNN sponsored notoriety' ?!?

listen man- I only had to ask my late grandparents.
i usually dont drag political arguments out of the boards, but you brought it up yourself.
you know- its not all about 6 million compared to 20 million- there is a little difference between killing your own people, or even minorities living in your own country and gathering an entire religious/ethnic group from ALL OVER THE WORLD to be tortured, starved, humiliated and slaughtered like animals.
there is a damn good reasonm for hitler's cnn notoriety- go to a holocaust museum (hopefully you have one where you live) and see why.
grooverider:
ok- here's a deal- you take an hour to learn a little more about the jewish holocaust, and you also send me a few links so i can learn more about the past of your people. fair enough?

It's nearly 1 in the morning. Saw Matrix Reloaded.

I need to reread the critics reviews and figure out what exactly they didn't like.

The philosophy about destiny, choices, will etc was a little comic book, but interesting attempt nonetheless. About a half hour SOLID of fight sequences gets tiring fast.

Nonetheless nowhere near as bad as I was led to think by some articles...

And what wrong with Akvavit? tongue Admitedly its not as nice as whisky but then again I am a Scot so I'm biased. Does mix nicely with whisky and coke though, I'm calling that one a skullbuster. Olsens is the only place I know in the UK that does it, I was really estatic when I first found the place, and the Bloodshot is good too.
