i may be changing my user name on here some time in the next month.

last night i went out to see Sigur Ros.. and what a fantastic show.
i took someone, but i might as well have simply been there alone.
against the backdrop of the music.. i had time to think. i suppose i came to some conclusions on a number of things..
it is only hurting me to care so much for people that cannot care as much for me.
i am an alien.. the way i feel for the world is truly different, it seems. i have been horribly burned time and again by hoping and trusting that others might feel the same, love the same, or at least understand.

to survive, i cannot care like this.
