A Taste of the Dark Horse
I went in, I filled out my paperwork and my new bossman Rob took my identification. I punched in and hung around in the kitchen for a couple of hours. I didn't do much, as I was mostly there to watch until I felt like leaving. All the other kitchen guys were there today. Dan, my neighbor, was there and I met Mike, Jason, and Dustin, the assistant kitchen manager. Since these guys have such generic names that I know multiple people with the same names, I shall henceforth prefix the names of any of my co-workers at the Dark Horse with the word "Dark". So, my boss is Dark Rob and I work with Dark Dan, Dark Mike, Dark Jason, and Dark Dustin. Oh, and I've already exchanged a little playful banter with one of the hot waitresses, Dark Kelly.
Anyway, so far I've liked all the guys I'll be working with in the kitchen and I think I'll like this job as long as I manage not to suck at it. I'm a little less nervous about the job now that I've seen the kitchen in action. I'm still worried about whether I'll be able to pick up how to make everything fast enough so that I won't get overwhelmed when I'm out of my training week. I may be relatively smart, but my memory is has more holes than a body modification convention. So, this will be a little challenging.

wednesday looks pretty clear right now. its a tricky first part of the week for me, i have to juggle around getting work to some vendors so it will depend on if they are delivering things when they said they would.
