Day thirty-eight on Suicide Girls. The new girl Iggy that went up today is pretty cute, though her actually set itself felt a little run of the mill.

If you read my previous journal entry you know that wyspurr and I were waiting to hear back about the apartment near Little Five Points. Well, we heard back on it...and the news is that the only thing keeping them from approving our application is the fact that currently neither wyspurr nor I have a job (since I wyspurr couldn't work while I was down there house hunting). It didn't help that the bastards at McDonalds lied when they called about her work reference and said she was terminated rather than she quite with notice. Fuckers.

Fortunately, the apartment manager said he'd hold the apartment a week to give us a fighting chance. Since she's got a better work record wyspurr's gone down to job hunt like mad while I stay here in Asheville with the kids, homebound and likely bored out of my mind and anxious as hell about whether or not we'll actually end up moving into this place. So much hangs in the balance with how well this weeks job search goes.
