Man, Allergy Season is in full swing. I always forget just how bad it is. I always think about the incessantly runny nose, but I forget about the poison-ivy-eyeshadow feeling and the full-body-press-sick feeling and the drunken-mind-numb-without-the-happy-of-being-drunk Benadryl-induced haze.
For those of you who don't live in the Southeast US, you probably don't realize just how bad it is. I know I didn't, until I moved here. The finish on my car is black, but if you look at it from the right angle, it looks chartruse. Everything is coated with pollen: the deck, the windows, the steps, the door. I spend as much time as possible shut up in my room with the air filter going. I'm reading a lot, heh.
