Hey lovelies!!
I hope you've all had an amazing weekend!! Today had been a day of frustration, as I woke up to do a bunch of things only to realize I had to ID to do it with!! AHHH! But as always, the universe takes care of me!! I decided not to let it get me down, surely today was going to be beautiful even with every set back! And it WASSSS!!!!
I don't know if I've posted about this before, but I dropped out of highschool at 17 to work full time and support myself on my own. At the time, it was just what had to be done. I've regretted that decision ever since. A few years ago I was at a party, and this woman started quite literally making fun of me for not having more than a grade 10 education. She compared me to Ricky in the trailer park boys in what I can only assume was meant to be a funny jab, and I have to admit it was...the first time...
After half an hour of it, though, not so entertaining!! So for another year I let these as well as many other comments from others, but mostly myself, way away at me. Then I decide to shut them allllllll up!!
I went back to school, and I got my highschool diploma with a 92% average between the 6 courses I needed to finish!
I was so happy!!! And I was so excited for my graduation ceremony, because then I can really show them, haha! But I ended up moving, and I was positive that in the shuffle and my forgetfulness I forgot to RSVP and missed it!!
Then today I checked the mail and there was a strange envelope,
With my invitation to my ceremony!!!! I must have changed my address and forgotten!!! That or they just have some super genius working for them!!!
Either way I'm so happy!!! Time to pick out a dress and shoes!!!
