so i really really want to get started on a half sleeve... I want something nautical (ships, sharks, anchors etc.) because my family is comprised entirely of sea people. My grandpa and my dad yacht/boat captains and surfers, my great grandpa was in the navy and retired to make sails, My grandma is on the crew of the yacht my grandpa captains, most of my family goes sailing for funsies... bu i digress... I am so NOT creative i can't really draw my own design and I cant find a photograph of something that is kind of what i want... Does anyone know where i can get ideas for tattoos? anything? I am in dire need


Also I have another tattoo related question... I don't know many people in particular who've had tattoos covered up so I'm not particularly experienced there... My first tattoo the on on my back

I've grown out of it for a long time now... and out of my various tattoo's its the only one i really regret... I'm sad to admit that my mom was right I had no idea who i was on my 18th birthday... and i should've gone with my gut and gotten something smaller.

But in your humble opinions is it possible to cover a tattoo of that size effectively?

So I know this is a little late, but might I suggest some Norse mythology, maybe a viking nautical theme, some viking ships, maybe, somewhere in some norse books you can find some kind of female warrior, im not as well versed as in norse mythology as I should be giving out advice, but maybe there is a way to not cover up but change that back piece to fit a theme! Your name is Valhala and it is Norse and Viking, so if your thinking about nautical I would go that direction, just a suggestion hope it helps. smile
