Well, I am sitting in the basement of Kansas State's Huge library goofing off in between classes. I have a two hour break ever MWF, which I usually spend reading up on the fifth floor of this same building. Today, I have nothing to read. I'm just sitting here typing while listening to the Conan the Barbarian soundtrack. Great fun is being had, let me tell you.
For those who are curious, Blossom and I had a great anniversary. We went out to eat with our friends Brenda, Andrew, Ruth, and CW. Blossom made my present. Since the first ann. is supposed to be the paper one, she constructed a book of historical events that occured on both Sept 13th (the ann) and Jan 31st (my birthday). It is very cool. I am a history nut and will be reading it from cover to cover. I think I will bring it on our trip to MINN.
Speaking of which, we are leaving in less than two weeks. This will be the first time I have been out of Kansas since my family went to Hawaii over Christmas back in Dec of '96, when I was still a junior in high school. I am very excited about it. I hav enever taken a long road trip anywhere, so that will be a new experience for me.
I am starting to think that KimRayne is not coming back. She went grey about a week and a half ago and was only visiting every couple of weeks before that. She was my 3rd friend on SG and it will be sad to see her go.
I want to say again how good the Conan soundtrack is. It has been a while since I listened to it. It really fits my mood right now, that being I want to get one of my swords out and go hack some things up.
That reminds me, I won a sword on Ebay yesterday for $.01!!!!! It had a "buy it now" on it, but no one had placed a bid, so I did at the last momment and won it. It is a Highlander sword (the Kitana, not the Scottish one). I have to pay $20 for shipping, but it is still damn cheap for what it is. I Paypalled the money as soon as the auction ended. No way I am letting that one get away.
