She's playing here this coming Friday, and I am so unbelievably excited. I'm really hoping to get to meet her too.

I do have a really cool piece from Jim Mahfood and one from Guy Davis, but they're friends of mine and did them for our back covers, so I don't know if that counts.
Seriously, though, at some point you HAVE to find a way to get to the SD Con. It's just something that has to witnessed. I've been to cons in Atlanta and Chicago twice, and, Chicago being the second biggest con in North America is MAYBE a third of what SD is. It's pretty unbelievable. I grew up in KC so I keep wanting to go to their con, but every year I'm too broke. Maybe sometime this year or next I'll get big enough that they'll just invite me.
That wouldn't suck.
