Black Heart Magazine seeks staff reviewers for paid assignments. Black Heart is an erotic literature website based in Montreal featuring the dirtiest minds in literature. We are devoted to creating the best content on the topics of sex, love and lust, but we do not review explicitly pornographic videos or websites. Subjects to be covered in reviews include erotic literary works, sexy music, educational and documentary films and the occasional sex-related website (see: "Hot For Your Words" by way of example). Mainstream books, CDs and DVDs may occasionally be reviewed, though preference is given to independent authors and artists.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Excellent written English
* Ability to express an opinion succinctly
* Comfortable with material on the subjects of sex and sexuality
* Ability to work on a deadline

TO APPLY:
Reviewers should specify which two subjects (books, music, films, websites) they most wish to write about in a cover letter, detailing previous review experience (if any). Please send a rsum (CV) along with at least one writing sample to reviews[at]blackheartmagazine.com, using the subject line "BLACK HEART REVIEWS."

New writers are encouraged to apply and need not send published work. Instead, please send a sample review of 300 words maximum on a book, CD or DVD that you think fits Black Heart's criteria.

COMPENSATION:
350-500 word reviews will be paid $5 upon publication.
