ah yes. bleaching my hair today. i hate the process but i like the results. i've been bleaching my hair, on and off, since highschool. i've got it down to a science.
wellite cream bleach with 40 developer. most people use 20 or 30 developer. but if you want light hair 40 is the way to go. after washing the bleach out, my hair is usually a light lemony yellow. which won't due. i hate yellow hair. so i use some "white lady" creme toner with the 40 developer which evens out those nasty yellows, with a violet base, to something much more suitable. the end result. an off-white.
i've tried a lot of different colors. bleached white is my favorite by far. we have hair. why not play with it.

I used to do the same exact thing, except I used the kaleidescope (sp?) shit after I bleached, and that has blue undertones instead of purple. Nice after effect.
