What's on my mind? Charles Bukowski is on my mind. What is off my mind is Jack Kerouac, it took me years to realize that he sucked. Anyhow, Bukowski and Burroughs. My men.

Thanks! Rene Crevel and Delmore Schwartz...the latter was the inspiration for Lou Reed, using the mundane as art. A trip to the movies, a walk on an unknown block in NYC. Rene Crevel was the most brilliant surrealist writer, but the surrealist movement was a boy's club and since he was homosexual he was kicked out by the ultimate cyst, Andre Breton. But his writing surpassed the surrealism of the surrealist movement, his books and collections of poetry can be found easily. Used and cheap. Worth reading because no reading of his work ever feels the same, it changes every time. A flower that never withers and dies.

I'm only finding your response now. When you respond to people's comments here you'll need to @Gadget or whomever to send a notification so they know you've responded. Just in case you haven't come to learn that yet. I like the way you phrase that. Endured... that's how I feel. Though I'd like to enjoy it. haha
