We had a good Christmas this year 
The kids got their ipods so they will be able to survive for now 
My daughter just had to have the pink nano and the boy needed the 30 gig. I threatened them with underwear for the last 2 months. And just because I am evil I put there ipods in packages of underwear and wrapped that up. the look of dissappointment was only beat by the total surprise when the found the good stuff

My dad would do just about the same thing you did with presents for my mom. He'd buy her something small like jewelry, wrap it, put it in a bigger box, wrap that one, put it in a bigger box, wrap, bigger box etc. until he got to a HUGE box and would often put bricks in that one and then wrap that one too. It was really funny watching her open that stuff lol.
