My son got his braces off and he is happy as hell. 
(yes his teeth are this straight) .
We kept telling him you will be glad you are getting them off now instead of putting them on right now.
He is 14. He would always tell us he doesnt want braces and that he didnt care what his teeth looked like

AHHHH..... YOUTH... when you dont relize what it takes to get girls LOL. My wife says he seems to be in a much better mood and has fixed his attitude
