A roller skate or chicken wire.

This is input. this is the most beautiful keyboard ever, and a backlight, and a late night. this is psychosexual, this is unautonomical. this is copied for safety.

And that was delicious.

I hate background noise, but I always find myself in the kitchen. At this moment, everything seems to be making sound. The table is creaking as I...

We've been to WAY more than 7 states. TX, CO, AZ, CA, WA, TN, UT. Ok, so CA is a huge fuckin' state. Still, I feel like i'm forgetting a few, there. And 2 countries not counting this one.

You're breathing now all asleep like. it sounds like you, it's nice, and your computron has the gentlest of wooshes. i like the late because all is quiet.

Mercury flies about the sun like nobody's business, and this ole' planet does a lap a year. it's a big deal, doing a lap. to a first approximation, we're back where we were in the universe this time last year. after a while, some of the slower things stand out a bit more. mars takes, what, 3 years? jupiter is 7, and saturn is a huge, lumberingly slow one. yes, i reckon we feel these things, and at the same time, to a more-than-first approximation, nothing is ever the way it was again. even if lightning strikes again in the same place, it's different. it got hit once, and now it's twice. or three times, or heads forever. whatever. turtles all the way down.

it smells good, whatever it is...

I figure it's high time I get back to you here. It's Saturday morning and I awoke far too early. An irate call from work telling me I screwed up for letting someone get overtime (as though it makes a difference there), the girl intentionally ditched the shift and I am forced to come in tonight anyway. Fuck and alas, as Chloe* might say (Feast...

I, the other i, back again. Across the midwest, across a hundred thousand acres of the midwest and beyond and then suddenly a great round rainbow below us, a great gasp from the plane. Yes, the end of the rainbow is its beginning, it goes nowhere but to itself, when left to its own devices. When upon them we look down, rainbows are round!

Green chile and the fall, the season of death, of aphids and grasshoppers and the mantids and lady bugs that eat them... The sun falls away slowly towards the south as we turn our back as a collective hemisphere on warmth and light. The rate of change of the length of the day is now at its max. A brain-teaser for the neophytes - what is rate of change???

The other I, being you, becomes old and special in 5 days. I placed the great order for the great delivery of magical stuff that i imagine to be on your wishlist. no, not a printer, or even a scanner, though given unlimiter resources a scanner would be high on my list of great and exciting things that you could revel in. Also, printer ink has increased greatly in price, and if that price were not an option i would be the first to get you such, but being that it is most assuredly an option, i have opted for more circumspect and yet, i hope, spectacular options.

they are kitchen-centric, and this reflects my intrinsic bias towards usefulness, sustenance and, ultimately, procreation. we did flowers in lab today. dissection microscopes are much friendlier with flowers! the ovaries of gladiolus look like jalipenious, the pepper that is, however one spells such a thing. funny how all fruit look very much alike.

On the next quiz, perhaps i will ask for one example of an ovary. a habenero would be a correct answer, as would a banana, an apricot, or a grape. A rollerskate or chickenwire would not be correct. Some of these are not like the others. At this point, you're obligated to read 'til the end, no matter...

And i'm obligated to finish these infernal notes. this is my nonsexual purpose. this is not the NYT (murdock's WSJ is too expensive these days, and they cut the copy staff so that there are comma usage errors regularly, which drive me batty - spelling is easy to fix with the machine, but real honest to gosh english is harder to come by). and so i read the nyt with coffee or lunch, it doesn't take power. this is input. this is the most beautiful keyboard ever, and a backlight, and a late night. this is psychosexual, this is unautonomical. this is copied for safety.

this is early happy birthday. this is not yet hobo disco. this is i an' i. we luv us, right? there's a paper letter awaiting, too.

Dear,
I tried to figure out all the exotic blanks to fill in. I'm confused. It's baroque. It's ok, though. The new yorker will be here shortly, and even though the sun is slowly setting into winter, we've got plenty of water and a fat harvest before us, and the sun will still be sailing out there somewhere, right?

It was never winter that did...
