OMG honey, I'm so sorry. I can't even imagine how miserable this must be making you. I hope your work is willing to work with you on some sort of solution. It seems totally unfair that they want you to take your maternity leave now, when there's another solution (working from home) available.

And yeah, I'd like to know what it is about the bathroom too. It seems, when I want a good cry I go in there. (or my closet of all places.) But, to be fair, my closet is the size of a small bedroom so... wink

Really dumb question: are you using hypoallergenic detergents? Isn't it possible for for you to get new, temporary allergies during pregnancy? I get weird rashes when I sleep in sheets that have been washed in stuff I'm allergic to, but nothing like that ...

I had a rash almost like that. It ended up peeling like a sunburn but it itched so badly I screamed and writhed in pain.

Aw man, that's the pits! I didn't get PUPP, but I did get really inexplicably itchy near the end. My midwife had me take baking soda baths and oatmeal baths, which helped, but usually only while I was actually in the bath.

She also recommended Sarna Anti-Itch Cream, which has no steroids. I think it helped a little.

Sorry, that's all I know. Have you checked the boards at Mothering.com? Those ladies know everything!
