So I went to the OB-GYN today for a pap smear and check up, Daniel made the appointment for me. We got there today to find out the doctor is very religious, they really should have a warning or something so you know they are nuts before you get there...
It all started when they had me in the room naked from the waist down covered with a little paper towel thing, the girl came in the room and just left the door open till the doctor got there. If my husband would have stood up in the waiting room he would have been able to see right into the room. so I was feeling alittle uncomfortable at the place to begin with...
Then during the exam he started telling me to prevent breast cancer i should have gotten pregnant before i was 30, then in a rude tone he went on to say how he understands how this doesnt fit well in todays modern working situations (or something like that). Then he goes on to tell me that i should be using the family planning method, i couldn't shut him up so when he was done I told him that my husband cant have kids. After he asked a bunch of questions about it and found out that there is a way of extracting it from the testicle, he told me he had to consult someone because there may be a way to do it within the guidelines of the church.
Then this is the best part right here... He said if they could find a way to get the sperm into his penis then that could work... (well we dont need the sperm in his penis we need it in me.. but i didnt say that)
Thank god my husband wasnt in there with me, he so would have embarrassed me. Im pretty sure he would have told the doctor, No we dont have to worry about that we will just use the family planning method, but she is gonna have to have alot of sex with other guys..... (or something to that effect. He tends to say things that are kinda out there sometimes...)

religion is really something that really any sort of health care professional shouldnt let influence their work. that guy you saw sounds like he really was out of his mind to begin with, add the religion in there and it made the whole thing a lot worse. best not go back there and see if there is some head doctor at the office who you could talk to about this guy...
i am so sorry about that doctors visit...you should have politely asked him to shut the fuck up. (is there really a polite way to ask someone to shut the fuck up?)...if there's a way to report him, please do. who knows how many women he's "talked" to about their decisions.
