Shit that's been getting under my skin more and more since the overhaul on staff photographers:

suispud1 announced:
If you deny or deride any woman of any type the opportunity to be a part of, and perhaps even flourish on this site, are you not thus kicking the concept of diversity square in the taint?
Bot_ replied 8 sec from now:
What's depressing is that SuicideGirls is supposed to be about showcasing a woman in all of her glory. It also states in the model FAQ: "I don't think I'm the right fit for SG" and they respond "we encourage all girls of all shapes sizes and nationalities to apply to be models" and also, one of the main claims SG has, is that they love diversity with their models. I'm sorry...but all I see anymore are the same bodies and same looks. Long hair. Slim figured. Small or fake breasted. It's not to discredit any of these models or slam them, but really, there need to be more girls like Suri or Maddie or Wendy. Seeing nothing but skinny girls going Pink and continuing to be on FP and published definitely kicks diversity in her pretty little face. As well as discourages any girls who are curvier or thicker to try. I see in so many different threads how discouraged some girls get, and the main comment "I really don't think I'm skinny enough to be an SG".
Maybe I'll go start a similar website that allows ALL girls of ALL shapes sizes and ethnicity to show what their momma gave them.

On Swayze-'s blog:
Baby girl....you couldn't have said it any better.
Being of the curvier variety of woman that I am, being on this site has it's ups and downs. While there are a lot of curves supporters that are truly amazing people...the fact that only seeing girls of the same general thin bodied variety is completely discouraging.
I joined and later became a Hopeful because of girls like Suri and Wendy and other SGs with thicker body types, because in all other aspects of modeling, our body types get shunned upon and picked at and criticized negatively and always recommended to lose a lot of weight to make it, so I saw those girls and was like "holy shit yes...finally somewhere that actually appreciates different types of bodies." And not only that, the girls that make the FP and get published aren't even the average body style of America or even the world. So is SG really truly representing women as a whole? In all their glory of alternative-ness....I think not.
This point right here is what keeps me struggling always with continuing on and trying to get published or just saying "fuck it" and remaining a member only because of the friends and the community.
A lot of things need to change on SG.....first off NOT firing the TWO MAIN photographers who enjoyed shooting and shot models of different body styles VERY well ScottSmallin and Lorelei...maybe members aren't returning because they're sick and fucking tired of seeing the same thing on FP...not "the same" as only certain people go FP...but same as in, the only thing that changes are their faces, names, and locations......maybe their hair color.....everything else is all too similar.

more to come I'm sure once I'm out of school and back home.
