I have been so busy that I do not know where to start. I went awayn on vacation to Cape Cod for a while and had a great time sea lion and whale watching. I also started my new job as a Youth Advocate so I have been super busy. The job rocks for several reasons.
All my clients are really cool and fun to work with, even though they get in a little trouble here and there.
1)I get to make all of my own hours
2)I can work 40 hours of work in about 15 hours and get paid for 40....group time with kids rock

3)All of the other staff is really great

4)My son can come to work with me as long as I am not touching on any major subjects or working with my clients family or other mental health providers, case workers or probation officers ( and if I trust the kids around him)

5)The pay isnt all that shabby and I can work around my research grant.

6) My boss likes to hang out and isnt really serious

So, as you can see, I really like the new job.
School starts next week and my son will be going into fourth grade. He is already pouting. We did the school clothes and school supply thing and he is ready to go. I can not believe the school supplies that you need for fourth grade. I ended up spending almost a hundred bucks just on paper, pencils, highlighters...You would think he had his own office there or something.

I am finally getting over my dog passing away. It killed me to have him go, he was with us for a long time
We want a new dog, the house seems empty without one. Plus I like te security of having one. I have always had big watch dogs and the make me feel safe at night.
If anyone has any ideas about breeds I would love to hear them.
