Yeah so I just got vaccinate for my "allowed to kiss strange girls that might bite and stuff!" I'm so excited (Yes my Mr. is totally paranoid and a germaphobe.) So now all I need to get is some protective bike gear. (Uh pookie what are your rules on that again? I don't want to be leaving anything out.) And i'll be all set for...

O.k. so let's see. I got reminded why one showers imediately after hiking in the ozarks this time of year. I got to escort a friend of mine to a nude photo shoot (it's an anniversary present for her boyfriend). I got my ticket in the mail for the SG show in St. Lious. Oh I also finnished some things that I'd been meaning to...

I love Civ! I haven't gotten to play Civ 4 yet, but I played the hell out of 2 and 3 back in the day. Have you heard of Spore?
dragonkitty:
Yup, My Mr. Man and some firends that came up for our big party a week or so ago kept go on and on about it, as though I didn't get to hear all about when Mr. Man first hear about a month or so ago. They're so funny; I could easily still be playing the orginal civ instead of civ 4, but he loves new games. Besides, it's easier to play what ever is in the computer instead of looking for the old ones. I think maybe I'm just too cheap to get excited about new games when I'm still entertained by the old ones. So there's my 2 cents on that. *nod*

Wow, I'm slowly comming to the realization of how acustomed to having someone home to talk to I've become. Server blew up so Mr. Man stayed late at work to uh work. I've spent lots of time trying to call people that weren't available, and lots of time wanting to talk to people that I don't have numbers to call. It so frusterating to want...

Ahh, finnaly a day where things got done. And to think all I had to do was think that I'd be wasting a whole day at the docoor's office. Step one find doctor's office. Step 2 don't freak out. Step three go home. Call about bulbs. Steps 5-9 repeat step 4. 10 lunch w/ SO to recap doc visit and find solution to favor problem....

Find somebody with a shotgun who likes squirrel gumbo. Chances are there's probably somebody in the same block. Go for it and good luck!

Glad to hear you're not wasting time any longer. Teach me your secrets. Those step by step instructions are too complicated for us slackers. frown
arnan:
haha! i'll try to bring some of the dorms ninja squirrels down to ya when i visit again. trick is getting the little bastards into a box or something rather than throwing shit at me. little bastards are completely uncivilized!

good to hear the 19 different things you had to do got done; but does that leave another 19 for the next day or just 3-4? btw thats a lot of stuff to do! My recommendation is 2hrs of solid heavy metal to bring everything into perspective so it doesnt seem so much to do. hehe

So I had planned on going to this Jazz thing at Bordino's last night. It was supposed to start at 9:00. I get all duded up. Little Red dress and what not. We get ther at 9:10. It's standing room only with 10-15 people already standing. The place was packed. We ask about a table, ther are none avaible situated so one could hear the...

That sucks. hmm; I say next time you wanna go out and do something cool like enjoy a good show you bring your "People" before hand. Let them make "arrangements" with the management so you can enjoy your evening biggrin
If not I can always drop a few ninja squirrels into the ventilation system to do crowd control (picture evil grin here) hehe

BTW is that the same red dress? if so...niiiccee smile hehe
dragonkitty:
Yeah you know that red dress. I guess I'll have to put a pictue of it up on here sometime.

BAh so I'm feeling mildly depressed right now. I'd also like to take this opportunity to bitch about the world cup. I mean come on France and Italy. They don't even make my top five on who I'd like to see win the world cup. Ahh, yeah. I so hate thinking about this whole anniversery party too. Hopeful I'll be done with the invitations by...

O.l. sorry I haven't been updating. Things have been stupid. Buuyin cards if fucking hard. MY brother's dog is now living with us. My grandmother is doing better, and as soon as I get stuff squared away for this stupid anniversery party I can work on my house! Yeah I know, novel, a gardener that works on their yard. I know it's a first for...

So I've been thinking that I come from a strange camp. We seem to hold to the belief that there comes a point where life is not worth living. That if we can't do the things that bring us joy in life then it it time to go. The older I get the more people I run into that seem to view it differently, that...

My wife has rather horrible depression and she has asked me to let her go from time to time. I've denied her that because during the majority of her life she's happy about continuing to exist. So I'm going to go with don't let someone go over something that is temporary, even if it is recurring.
That said, I do believe that if you really truly aren't happy and aren't able to become happy, ie old age, being entirely disabled, etc, then perhaps it is time to let them/yourself go.

I forget sometimes how crushing of a thing love can be. My brother reminds me in his choice of songs that be finds appropriate for me. I'm listening to Morphine's In Spite of Me, which he picked to play at my wedding reception that never happened. I understand why he picked it (or I think I do) even though I've not made it very far,...

Bah so tiered. I'm a lucky puppy though. I have people who help me do things for my family, like tape the first game of the world cup when my mom brakes Dad's TV. I'm just glad that some things work out. And my Doggie is happy. Yeah other stuff too, but I'm to lazy to get into it now.

So hey I made it through my weekend of wedding shit with only freaking out on the bride once and getting a drity look from the mother of the bride for my dress. I so never want to go to another catholic wedding again. Now admittedly I have limited apreciation for weddings in general, but seriouly. I'll finnish this later
