What a great day. I met all of my deadlines ealry and got to leave the wonderful world of advertising behind at a decent hour on a Thursday. I went to Lowes and purchsed new bricks to make a flower bed and lots of pretty flowers. I came home and went to work. I am all dirty now but my garden is looking so beautiful. My son and I had so much fun playing in the dirt. I cant wait to finish it.
My first night of my new grant program went very well. I felt like I had not been out of the game at all. I have some tough families this session but I see a lot of growth potential and I cant wait to see the end result. I cant believe how much this program really reaches the hearts of some very hurt and damaged people. I have the grant for the next three years so I am glad I am happy.
I feel blessed to be able to mix my work. To have two jobs in two seperate fields that I enjoy. I really love that I dont have to see clients on a daily basis and I can still help people and keep up on the psych field.
I am suprised at how fast my week has calmed down. I have worked a lot of hours but it was all enjoyable this week.
I hope to have a productive weekend. I am going to start the remodling of my house to make it into a duplex. I cant wait to get rid of half of all that I own.

I am glad to hear things are starting to wind down a little. having time to relax and do things around the house is always a good thing.
gardening, huh? did I ever mention that I've done some work landscaping? summer job. a friend of the family. most impressive site I worked on, the guy's landscaping was top 3 in Monroe County (commercial and private combined)....figured that his landscaping alone was at least $150,000.....
keep up the work with the families....definitely know we in the Psych field can use all the help we can get!
