Why's it called a soft drink anyway? Is it soft? Who comes up with these things? I mean, some marketing team sat around thinking, "okay, we've got this product with high sugar, high sodium, and of no nutritional value, how can we spin that?"
And the best thing they could come up with was Soft Drink?
Oh, and also, I have seven different kinds of chips and lots of strange Japanese candy.

I got lamb steaks at the farmers' market this morning too. The somewhat creepy, yet still quite affable, purveyor of lamb meat was kind enough to let me know that he'd just slaughtered it himself last night.
