For those of you who may have recenly stopped whatever you were doing to silently wonder what the future held for your favorite legally recognized afro-american white guy named Zak, I have composed a short "Things that will rock me in 2005!" list for your convenience.
- May 13: I head to San Francisco to test the boundries of morality and good taste at SG Prom. No plans have been made other than "Show up and consume generous amounts of bottled comedy" and possibly "Unleash said comedy until your funny-bone fucking shatters, thereby crippling your sense of humor for life".
- June 18th: I've been working my ass off to compete in this Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament. I've literally worked to the point of throwing up in subway stations, which is a strange and new experience when done as a result of hard work and not hard drinkin'. If any of you are in the Poughkeepsie, NY area around that time, I highly encourage you to bear witness to what will probably be my hilarious destruction.
- July 3rd: My kick-ass family comes to my hood for plenty of Independence Day hijinks. Bringing an end that will do justice to what will most likely be a spectacular visit would require at least one foiled alien invasion with no small amount of one-liners. But my parents taking my brother back with them for the summer is a pretty damn good start. Summer vacation, bitches! Guess who's sleeping naked again?!
- Continuous: The web site I write for has a swanky new staff section where you might see some familiar faces. My stylized image makes me look like the bass player in a scary straight edge band. The site itself is about to go through its first major change. The re-launch will feature more of the opinionated content you've probably already gotten tired of in my journal, but with an added sense of social relevance! So keep checking back as I break out of the confined space of actual news. I'm also adding a new banner for the site below. I've only seen the code, so I will experience it for the first time right along side you. Come on, baby. I swear it's my first time. Let's just read the first sentence together. If it hurts, I promise we'll stop. You can trust me.
