so i met a girl that i met on myspace in person this evening. now, let me preface this with i've only met one person from online before, and he was from this site. that was a good experience, so i figured, what the hell, i'll meet this girl, she sounds cute on the phone (no pic on myspace) and she works at victoria's secret so i figure she can't be a monster or anything. so i agree to meet her at the coffee shop.
SHE WAS A MONSTER!!!
now i have NO problem with bigger girls, i've dated a few, and appearances are honestly not all that important to me, but how a person carries themselves, regardless of size, is VERY important. she didn't carry herself well, and lacked confidence and was generally just kind of a whiny pushover.
BUT i agreed to drive her home because her friend had to go see her boyfriend somewhere else and was gonna spend the night there. well, i think she lives like a half hour north (ogden for those who know) nope, she lives like 45 minutes to an hour northeast of here (by snowbasin/powder mountain for those that know) so i enlist my friend via text message (i made him come with me in case of this exact situation) to make the drive with me so i don't have to be alone with her, and like the stand up dude that he is, he does. thank GOD. i would have shot myself after being in the car with her. goddam she was obnoxious.
BLARGH!!!!!!
so fuck myspace people with no profile pics.
the shitty part of all of this is that there's so many people on here that i would LOVE to meet in real life, and i really don't want this experience to ruin it for me, but i know that every time i meet someone, its gonna be sittin there in the back of my head nagging at me. damn her to hell for that.
on an only semi related note, I plan on taking a road trip during spring break (mid march or so) that will take myself and my good friend across nevada, into the bay area, and up through oregon and washington, into canada for a bit, and then back. so if you want to have coffee or something with me, i'd love to meet everyone that i know from here, I'd love to aprty if i'm in town for the night as well, so let me know if you'd like to meet up
