Is there a better way to shake off what was nearly a nervous breakdown of a day driven partially by last night's terrifying nightmares than to spend the evening reading comic books and Plato in bed with a boy who shares my eye colour?

.. Didn't think so.

My room is cold and I can hear the rain on my windowsill. In bed with my computer. It's rad, even though it doesn't know how to spoon.

I was reading some of the Platonic dialogues at work the other day, and I'd toss my book down on the counter when customers approached. It pleased me greatly when people commented on my "light reading for...

You should try downloading the video Revelations. It's from his show in England, really funny.
Relentless is probably the best one...Philosophy is good too, then Flying saucer tour, Arizona Bay ( Which is where Tool got the idea of writting Aenima) That's about it. But like I said try to get videos as well.

I have scars all over my body.

Several summers ago, after attending a family reunion in the tiny grain-fueled town of Trochu, Alberta, I found myself visiting family friends at a cabin alongside Christina Lake. Earlier on this trip I had managed to dive into a pool that was much more shallow than I had anticipated, hitting my jaw and left shoulder hard against the...

i always look forward to reading your entries. smile

i have a purple scar on my left knee that sticks out in a nearly fluorescent manner when it's cold outside. i got it back home in calgary last winter. i was flailing wildly down the street when i hit a patch of ice and wound up flailing directly into a patch of gravel and taking all the skin off.

it was pretty awesome.

Breathe in.

I am not sleeping enough these days and my house smells like rice vinegar and school is going to weigh upon me within the next week with unexpected force and work is fine but I cannot stand the constant hum of fluorescent lights and sometimes I just want peace and quiet and I'm not finding the time to read that I'd like to...

ON RECOGNITION

He opens the door and walks in. Thick black jacket, slim fingers and too much facial hair. Small eyes. Goes straight to the counter; "Do you have any more purple licorice? Yeah, that. du Maurier king size." He's my least favourite, so far. Always smells a little too heavily of cigarette smoke. Never makes eye contact. He's curt and throws his coins on...

How to fight loneliness..

Go shopping. Buy lovely black "dolly" shoes with pink and white polka-dot lining, and a pleated blue & green plaid skirt!

Today was my day off from both work and school, so I went downtown with A. and looked at fancy china cookware and expensive clothes. We breathed in the heavy city air- a brief respite from the rain here only...

I wonder if my basement suite will flood if this rain keeps up as forecasted. It seems like the type of house- you know, an old one- that would. And intuition keeps nagging me.

Today was remarkably lovely. I turned on the Weakerthans, made the best spaghetti of ever, cleaned, and better acquainted myself with everyone's good friend Plato. Opened the windows.

Mondays and Thursdays...

Yikes! That doesn't sound good! For your sake, I really hope it doesn't!

That sounds like a lovely day. The other night, for me, it was Depeche Mode "On NIght In Paris" dvd, that comic "Unlikely" I mentioned in my journal, and some soy corn dogs. It was quite blissfull. smile

That picture of the stairway is really neat. Kinda spooky (I enjoy spooky).

And YES - I loved it! It was so funny. The zombies were really well-done too, I thought. A great movie.

They had to go into the vegetable protection program on account of some maniac trying to cut them up and put them in his food.

The vegetable protection facility is located in my belly. It's safe and cozy in there for them.

Here's a list, just for you.

I like:

Pesto on foccacia bread. Antony & the Johnsons. Being in bed, wrapped in fleece blankets, with my computer. Only having five minutes of work left, and that feeling that clicks in when I know I get to go home soon. Watching funny movies with my roommate. Having pretty lips and eyes. Being complimented on my red vinyl...

If you need to tell them I'll trade them a thing of Almond Roca for it.

I sure will. And it sure is. If you're not applying for those things, you sure should.

Nothing funny or exciting or interesting ever happens to me. Well, sometimes they do (see previous journal).

So, in light of being mopey and irritable for the better part of two days, I'm going to post an entry based entirely around me being an emo schmuck.

These are the things I would like, please.

Cook food in a beautiful kitchen with me. Read to me in my cave of a bedroom while I play with your hair. Hug me when you see...

Oh, yeah, sweet and cute and stuff. Worth the cootie risk for sure. I think the cootie infection rate drops considerably when the cootie carrier happens to be cute.

Looked down at my knees today while standing at the bus stop, and realized that they were turning shades of blotchy purplish-blue with hints of red poking through. Apparently it's winter, and maybe I should start wearing pants instead of skirts with legwarmers and knee socks. Oh biology, you seem to win every round!

Now that nearly all of the snow has melted, I find...
