So today I took the day off.

No school, no newspaper, no nothing.

Well, I do have a game tonight at 9, but that's okay. The skate will do me good.

Last night I hit up the Flogging Molly show at the Electric Factory. Gadget, her toaster and Aragon97 were there too. (and I'm sure there were other SGers there as well)

All in all it wasn't a bad performance. Managed to get away without getting kicked in the head or roughed up.

There were three really cool things about the show. (other than seeing the aforementioned trio)

1. They played "One Step Beyond" by Madness on the loudspeaker before the show. One of my all time favs.

2. They played Billy Bragg's "Waiting for the Great Leap Forward" over the loudspeaker immediately after the show. That would be my current favorite song.

3. Nathan threw me a can of Guinness(second show he's done that for me). My sister somehow managed to catch one as well. Then the Bragg song came on and I was happier.

Okay, I should be at Happy Hour, but this is the first day my mom, dad and younger sister have had a chance to have dinner together. Maybe next week.
