So I'm moving into the new place next week. Slowly getting my shit together.

In cleaning out my closet I found a poster that I had purchased about a year and a half/two years ago.

It was from a show a girl I was dating and I went to the first time around that we were together. Found the poster online and had to have it. Picked it up once we got back together with the intention that we would hang it once we got a place together.

Now, she's gone. Messy breakup. Haven't talked to her since.

Still, I have the poster. It's too cool to stay in a cardboard tube. Not sure if I want to get it framed or not.

Thoughts?

ARRR!!!

Addition: I was cleaning out my desk and found a card which contained this message, thanking me for buying the print:

"It will look awesome wherever we end up living and make it a real home for us. To me it symbolizes the start of an awesome future for us. I felt like I couldnt tell you enough how it make me feel and how happy I am with you."

Change anyone's thoughts?

ARRR!!!

That was really sweet. Thank you. <3

1 - throw out that card. I can't keep sentimental shit like that around any more especially with someone I had a messy break up with. When Justin and I broke up (remember him?), it took me about 2 years to get rid of all of the "Justin stuff" that I had shoved in my parents garage. But it just keeps you safe from walking down the memory lane that is dark and scary and sad.

2 - Frame the poster. It's cool, and maybe it can have a new meaning for you in your new home.

hahaha thanks for the comment. my tat artist is actually the bf of a good friend of mine and he does free tats for our whole little group. as for your poster, god I know what you're going through! I have a few things like that that I tried to hang up and just get over, but I wound up having to take them down. It was too hard to have an in your face daily reminder. But.... that poster kinda rules. biggrin
