It's nothing but blue skies, sunshine here in Philadelphia.
In the process of sitting outside on the patio for an hour to try to turn this pasty skin a shade other than gloss white. Sipping the remnants of a strawberry limeade leftover from my trip to Sonic last night.
Things couldn't be better, right?
Well, today I have to go for an MRI on my knee. Fell playing hockey last week and things haven't felt right with it ever since. The X-rays came back negative for cartilage damage - a good thing. The doctor's office called today and said they showed negative for fractures - good as well.
That's not to say my ligaments aren't damaged.
Sure, summertime, not much hockey around. Unfortunately I was asked to go to a training camp for Olympic -track referees. Been waiting for a few years for an invite like this...and now...this.
At least the girl from the NHL isn't bothering me anymore.
